I hold a degree in Chinese Language and Culture from Beijing Normal University (BNU) and a degree in Political Science from the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences at UNAM. I am also a member of the Mexican College of Graduates in Translation and Interpretation (CMLTI).

I'm Alonso

For over a decade, I have been working both in and outside of Mexico as a professional interpreter. My working languages are Spanish, English, and Mandarin Chinese.

While pursuing my degree, I began my initial interpreting practice at the Mexican Embassy in China, serving as an assistant in the Press and Culture section.

After graduating, I returned to Mexico and began working as a freelance interpreter, serving a wide range of clients in both the public and private sectors.

During the pandemic, I worked full-time at one of the world's largest renewable energy companies, where I eventually became the  sub-director of my department.

In 2023, I co-founded Shaoyao Consulting, a firm specializing in interpretation, translation, and intercultural consultancy, dedicated to building bridges of understanding between Mexico and China.
